When I arrived at the hotel, I found the bedding in the rooms to be nice, and the overall cleanliness was wonderful. However, there was a musty smell similar to a smoking room despite it being designated as non-smoking, and the bed was quite hard. The service was nice, but some areas seemed affected by ongoing renovations. The location did have some drawbacks, like the presence of smoking and being disheveled, but it was close to attractions like ASU, Grandfather Mountain, and the Blue Ridge Parkway. The dining was average, with limited options, but it was better than a typical continental breakfast. Overall, the hotel seemed to be going through some changes but still offered a decent experience.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and nice, easily accessible to the elevator, and the size was just perfect. The pool and hot tub were a nice touch, both clean and well-maintained. However, the ongoing renovations were a bit of a nuisance.
